Bob is very honest and does "good work at a fair price." He told me the truth about my transmission from the beginning, about how it wasn't an emergency for me to get it fixed and it wouldn't get any worse, but it was a problem. When is the last time you went somewhere to get something fixed and they told you that you didn't need it "right now"? They kept me informed every step of the way. What a pleasure it is to give kudos to a [transmission] repair shop. These guys correctly diagnosed my issue (after a bad diagnosis elsewhere) and fixed it quickly and at a fair price. Customer service is excellent -- they were easy to stay in touch with and explained everything well. I could tell the other customers there were long-standing, so that was reassuring. Though this review is based on one visit, I can sure see why they were recommended not just by a friend but by other mechanics. If I ever need tranny work again, they will be at the top of my list. I had taken my Eldorado to several reputable shops because my transmission was not pulling right. Everyone told me I needed a new transmission, except you.
Thank you for repairing my transmission for less than $200. My car runs well and has no recurring problems. When I do need transmission work again, I'll definitely bring my cars and trucks directly to you.

Thank you for the incredible warranty service you provided on my Aerostar van. I was concerned when I called you, knowing I would be putting your warranty to the test, since you had rebuilt the unit about six months prior.
The repair required a complete transmission teardown and reassembly, but you had it finished by that afternoon! On top of that, the failure of an internal weld was absolutely unrelated to the earlier rebuild and was in no way a fault of the work of your mechanics. Nonetheless, there was never any mention of any additional cost to me.
It is comforting to know that honest businessmen like yourself, who understand the meaning of customer service, still exist.

I never thought I'd write a letter like this, but my recent experiences with you have been more pleasant than I could have imagined. When I was a poor college student in Maryland, I was directed to a mechanic who took care of my car, and more recently when I lived in Virginia I had congenial dealings with the local mechanics. The community was so small that everyone knew everyone else and honesty prevailed.
When I came to Atlanta I was concerned, as it is a much larger community. Now I know I did not need to worry, as my car is running better than it has for some time.

Toyota wanted to replace the transmission, for $3000! Another shop quoted me $3800 for a replacement! High-Tech analyzed the problem and found a bad computer module, which was covered by the Toyota warranty, had it replaced and it now works great! You could not find a more honest mechanic and person who takes the time to get to the bottom of problems than Bob Wunch, the owner of High-Tech. He is the only person I would ever trust to work on a transmission problem on any car I own!

I've had two experiences with this company; one to replace front axle and second for normal transmission servicing. Both experiences have been very good. Cost was below my expectations. Communication was excellent (almost too good; Bob likes to talk) and service was completed as promised.
It seems long past due for a letter of appreciation for the great work Benny performed on my Nissan truck over 4 years ago.
As of today, I still own the truck and drive it almost one hundred miles a day. It has 285,300 miles and still runs great - and that's more than 100,000 miles ince you overhauled the automatic transmission, torque converter and replaced the radiator.
